“The East Door” (orig. “La porta a Levante”) is the multimedia project in three languages – Italian, English and Gallurese – the photographer Nanni Angeli has dedicated to his land, the northern Gallura. In these pages Angeli presents a selection of his photographs and tells his journey in search of landscapes, buildings, faces and voices of rural Sardinia that survives, adapting to the impact with modernity and mass tourism
